What can you press with the Sana EUJ-808?
The Sana effectively squeezes juice from fruits and vegetables. Leafy vegetables are trickier but every vertical juicer suffers from that. The new Sana EUJ-808 slow juicer is similar to the latest Hurom 2nd Generation. Although it has no smoothie function or drying rack. Because the pulse output is not adjustable during juicing, it can happen that the slow juicer builds up a lot of pressure underneath the worm wheel, making the lid sometimes difficult to remove. Also, the slow juicer has to move backwards a little more often to prevent clogging. The rotating part of the Sana is identical to the versapers 4G.

What kind of juice do you get with the Sana EUJ-808?
The taste of the juice is of course determined by the ingredients you squeeze, so we always look at the structure of the juice when we do a comparison. As with all slowjuicers, the result of using herbs is very intense. Ginger, basil and parsley are flavors that bring the juices to a whole different level. Compared to the first generation of Hurom (or 3rd generation of Versapers) there is much less pulp in the juice. The Sana gives a nice smooth juice.

The Sana 808 slowjuicer comes with a fine and a coarse sieve. The fine sieve is for most fruits and vegetables. For the soft fruit you can make better use of the coarse sieve. The coarse sieve has slightly larger holes and is therefore less likely to get clogged than a fine sieve, the juice is therefore slightly thicker in structure. Unfortunately this slowjuicer is missing a pulp pressure regulator.

How do you clean the Sana EUJ-808?
All vertical slowjuicers have approximately the same cleaning time. The main thing that can cost extra time is cleaning the sink (and partly underneath the slowjuicer) and sometimes the engine. With the cheaper slowjuicers, the silicone parts are often of inferior quality, so leakage can occur after only 6 months. This makes cleaning the slowjuicer parts quite a job. So when buying your slowjuicer, pay close attention to the quality of these silicone parts. With the Sana 808 the silicone parts are of the highest quality. What is missing is a drying rack to dry the parts, so we put the parts on a tea towel to dry them.

Why choose the Sana EUJ-808?
The Sana slowjuicers are known for their design. Especially with the horizontal Sana slowjuicer the design is very striking. The Sana is just like the Versapers a private label and they are made by Hurom. This means that the juicers are of very high quality. So the most important reason to choose the Sana 808 is the straight design.
